This system allows for the two panel doors to be interlocked by one gate lock.

Insert key in gate lock and unlock.
Withdraw gate lock shaft and allow it to swivel down 90 degrees.
Both doors can now be opened and the key will remain trapped.
The key can only be removed once both doors are fully closed and the shaft is swiveled back up and into the slot on the fixed support and push back fully in the gate lock.
